From emergency room to healing hands
My journey to founding A.M.E. Advanced Massage Education began in the high-stakes environment of an emergency room and as a critical transport paramedic, a career spanning almost 25 years. I witnessed countless individuals being prescribed narcotics for issues that often stemmed from soft tissue and muscle pain. This experience ignited a passion for finding alternative, hands-on healing solutions.
After attending massage school in 2006, I fell in love with this healing industry. My dedication deepened through high-risk prenatal massage, and I soon realized many of my colleagues were suffering from work-related pain. This led me to combine my love for massage with injury prevention. Now, with 15 years of NCBTMB certification, I teach for AMTA, individual practitioners, and franchisee groups, happily traveling to share knowledge and foster growth in massage therapy continuing education.
